my love (poem)
my love
i’ll never find a way, my love
to be able to process all of the charm that your smile produces
as simple as pulling the muscle on your lips
slowly absorbing every energy in me
leaving me with nothing but adoration
my love
why did you have to go
without giving me the chance to photograph us
in this splendid imagination of mine
that no longer belongs anywhere
why does everything have to be very fiendish
leaving me with nothing but anguish
my love
i couldn’t even fathom loving no one else
not even if i wanted to
sometimes i even hope to be adam or eve
because they didn’t get to choose who to love
unlike all of us
who might be mistakenly in love with the wrong soul
